“Benicia’s Gold Rush Story,” the newest temporary exhibit at the Benicia Historical Museum, opens Tuesday, July 31, with a special reception from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Join us for this free event, and be among the first to explore the new exhibit, showcasing artifacts, narratives, and maps which highlight Benicia’s significant role in the California Gold Rush. Artifacts include items uncovered at the von Pfister dig site, gold mining tools and objects, assaying equipment, maps, and an operable Yuba dredge.

The exhibit will remain at the Museum through the end of 2018.
