My Museum

Overview: My Museum is tailored to our youngest visitors. Students take a guided, age-appropriate tour of the main museum gallery for the first 20 minutes of their visit. Students are then provided with a copy of the Benicia Historical Museum’s Kids Museum Activity Book and, guided by the Museum mascot Callie, follow the activities in the book and discover the history of California in a whole new way. Once students have completed their adventure, they are shown items from the Museum’s Discovery Box and invited to pick the items they are most interested in learning more about.

We recommend an hour for this program, however, depending on the level of interest, size of the group, etc. the time allotted for this program can be altered to meet the needs of the individual group.

Your reservation will be confirmed only after the Museum has received your reservation form and your deposit. Reservation Deposits are applied to Program costs. After submitting this form, you may pay your deposit by pressing the "ADD TO CART" button. If this form is complete, press the send button below.

A representative from the Benicia Historical Museum will reach out to you to confirm your reservation, offer availability, and provide clarification on any questions you may have.
