Join us on Sunday, September 29th as B8 Theatre Company presents their new production, Strange Ladies, in a benefit matinee performance.

As the U.S. enters World War I, a group of radical suffragists fights to win the right to vote. These women grapple with the personal and political challenges of creating social change.

This work of historical fiction draws on the events surrounding the 1917 Washington D.C. “Night of Terror” arrests and subsequent hunger strikes, with Period protest music dramatizing the suffragists’ political and morale-boosting strategies.

Join us after the performance for a Q&A session with Bay Area Playwright Susan Sobeloff.
